Korean BBQ Beef Ribs Recipe
The Cut:
Ask your butcher to cut 1kg beef ribs “flanken” style. That’s across the bone.

Make the marinade:

150ml (2/3 cup) Soy sauce
2 tbsp lime juice
1 tbsp Sesame oil
1 tbsp Brown sugar
2 tsp minced garlic
2 tsp Minced ginger
1 tsp Gochujang (optional for additional spice!)
Mix marinade together and add ribs in a bowl or flat tray so they marinate for at least 1hour, however overnight is better to allow the meat to soften.
The Cook:
When ready to grill, remove ribs from the marinade and grill on a medium-hot BBQ. Allow around 5 minutes each side so that the ribs are cooked at medium doneness, flipping where necessary to avoid flareups!

The serve:

Top with sliced spring onions and sesame seeds. Serve with crispy lettuce for freshness.
Pair with a Beefsteak Club red wine of choice.
